Business Traveler
I rented had a dirty restroom, we had to wait until they came to clean it before we could use it.
I rented three rooms, one had a dirty restroom, the other two had a slow tub drain, and one room did not have the micro fridge/microwave the other two had. I opted not to go to a cheaper hotel to avoid these type of problems and it turn out to be the same or worse as if I would've gone to a cheaper hotel. ...read more

Somebody threw up in the pool and the staff did not respond to complaints. The walls must be made of paper, you could hear other rooms conversation , as if they were in our room.

This La Quinta is one of the older motels. It was clean and friendly. This La Quinta has a good continenal breakfast.

Family with Young Children
We are adopting a little girl and have to travel for several weekends while she gets accustomed to us. My wife, son, and I stayed ad an "upscale" Hilton the first weekend because we got a great deal. Never again. I would recommend La Quinta several times over before I would even consider the Hilton again. The Hilton was dirty, smelly, had no breakfast, and had an annoyingly arrogant staff. The La Quinta staff was personable and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and we honestly enjoyed our stay there. I wouldn't recommend the hotel to other friends based on my experience about hotel quality. The staff was good and tried to help us in many ways.

It was an overall good hotel. I believe the restroom in the room could have been cleaner as I found a bunch of hair behind the toilet on the wall. I would stay there in the future.
